
Would you like to develop your language skills as well
as benefit from spending a week in a primary school abroad? If so,
then the new Primary Teachers’ Project is for you.
This exciting project
involves spending two consecutive weeks in
France, Germany or Spain. The first week of the
project is devoted to intensive language and methodology training,
while the second is spent work shadowing in a primary
school.
Dates and locations
Projects will take place during the following dates in the
following locations. Please note that the first and last days are
travelling days.
Spring term 2011:
- Germany (Düsseldorf)
20th February - 5th March
- France (Rennes, Brittany)
17th February - 1st March
Easter break 2011:
- Spain (Tordesillas)
17th - 30th April
- France
3rd - 16th April
Application
Funding assistance
EU Comenius funding of up to 2,500
Euros is available to cover travel and subsistence. A
contribution of £525 towards supply cover for the
week of term time involved is available.
